The Electric Lifebox
The Electric Lifebox was a self-initiated project which reimagines a contemporary product as if advertised in the 19th century. Informed by research into period-specific printing techniques, layout conventions, and typographic styles, along with drawing inspiration from Victorian-era catalog ads and broadsides, the piece blends historical accuracy with modern subject matter. It was recognized as a winning entry in AIGA Blue Ridge’s 2015 Flux Student Design Competition.
